No experience necessary. Just energy and a smile!

all4kids theatre camps are five day confidence building workshops for kids aged for 5 to 12 year olds (girls and boys). The camps take place during the school holidays. For dates of the next courses, please see the dates page.

You send us the child. We'll find the performer

Not all children are born performers, some lack the confidence to 'have a go'. We encourage children to believe in themselves and try to unlock the key to their confidence. In just one week we put together a 'workshop style show' performed on the last afternoon of the course for family and friends. Coached by teachers with experience in the theatre and lots of patience!

Each theatre camp has a indivdual theme so kids can come along to more than one camp if they wish. Previous themes have included Bugsy Malone, Grease, the wonderful world of Television, Christmas, Halloween and lots lots more.

There are also lots of 'make and do' sessions during the week, so the kids get to use their creativity to its fullest potenial and there is never a moment to be bored!

Denise Waterm

Denise Waterman
has been running camps like this for over 8 years and has seen many children go from strength to strength. With all her experience in the world of show business and a real belief in what she does, it comes as no surprise that Denise achieves great results with the children she works with.

You might say Denise Waterman was ‘born in a trunk’. Her parents were professional singers and she spent her early life on the road watching their every move. She attended a stage school along with her two brothers, from the age of 8 and made many commercials and even films as a child. It was therefore inevitable that she would go on to be a professional performer herself.

Her first grown up job was on The Morecambe and Wise Christmas show, where she impersonated Anna Ford and danced with the famous pair. She then went on to become a professional dancer, working all over the world, Jersey, Thailand, Portugal, Dubai, Damascus to name a few. She then spent some time working with Benny Hill and Kenny Everett before joining a pop group and having a number one hit ! The group was called Tight Fit, an eighties pop band that even toured with Paul Young.

After all the excitement in her world it was soon time to settle down, this she did. She married Pete Waterman [ pop idol etc ] they had two children. She lived in Manchester and soon the children began to grow. Denise got itchy feet. She decided to go back to work, this time her burning ambition was to be a television presenter! It was not long before she found herself on the screen presenting programmes from home D.I.Y to Bringing up Baby and even as a cookery expert. She was chosen by BT to make 35 commercials, as the face and voice of their friends and family campaign and went all over the world filming them.

It was after this and her children settled into school life that she would go along to school shows and repeatedly see the same thing happening. The same faces in the limelight and the same ones milling around in the background. She decided to see if she could make a difference to those children in the background.
